| Thy mother mated with a scorpion. So sayeth Auda Abu Tayi to Lawrence of Arabia, the answer to last week's quiz (and Filmbrain's personal favorite film of all time). To answer a question asked by many -- the meaning behind the ALT text of the image (Enforce a labia war) is simply an anagram of the film's title. Sorry if that threw you off. As for the bonus point -- the intended connection was that neither film contains a single female speaking role. However, some of you came up with other connections worthy of the bonus point:
- The Andre de Toth connection - he did some uncredited second unit work on LoA, and Reservoir Dogs is dedicated to him. (Nice one!)
- The Lawrence/Mr. Orange connection - both men are trapped between their duty (British officer/cop) and their allegiance to the group they infiltrated.
- And best of all - The 'Larry' connection - both films have lead Lawrences. Mr. White's (Harvey Keitel) real name is Larry Dimmick. Leave it to
film geek two-time Screen Capture Quiz winner Aaron H to come up with that one! This week -- a fairly easy one. Name the film, the actress, and the body of water pictured. Send your answers to this address. Good luck! |
Well, I think my connection was bonus point-worthy, too! Hmph!
(I kid! I kid because I love.)

Gee -- I thought last week's foto was from that Vin Diesel movie where he runs around wearing goggles on another planet.

Which one?

You know, Filmbrain, thinking back to that Betty Blue shot you used in Round 2, might you have a thing for -- and please pardon the hound-dog misogyny -- nice asses in red dresses?

"Nice asses in red dresses" -- isn't that a line from a Cole Porter tune?
